Trying for the 1st time today on stir fried rice. Yum! A little crunch (even in oil), a garlicky nutty roasted flavor, and just enough heat for my taste (the mild version). I like it!
I bought this with high hopes of spice and crunch, but was sorely disappointed. Minimal crunch, very oily, and the flavor was so bland. Not really any spice or flavor otherwise at all. Bummer, $10 for nothing.
I can enjoy this! I have awful, lifelong heartburn but at last I can enjoy chili crisp thanks to this mild chili crisp. It adds just enough "sparkle" without making me pay for the pleasure by having to take antacids. The flavor is out front; it's not just about heat. I recommend it highly. More than 5 stars, please.
I had read a bit about this condiment and was excited to try it, but I have no idea what the hype is about. I bought the spicy variety and while the texture is excellent, there is little flavor and absolutely no heat.
